Baby Gate (Update-White)

Just thought that I would put up a post of the baby gate that was built a few weeks ago, Now that it is painted. Painted white to match the banister it ties into. ( Note: hinges in this picture were only temporary, They were replaced with hidden hinges that were concealed)

Latching system can be made to what ever style you prefer. This picture shows a spring loaded latch that can be made to any tension you request. ( Something a little stiffer is best so as your child gets stronger they still wouldn't be able to pull the latch open)

There are so many things you need to do when baby proofing your home. Some of the changes you have to make aren't the greatest to look at, But at least you can have a baby gate that looks nice and maybe even adds decor to your home.

A custom fitted latching baby safety gate is also safer for your little one than an adjustable "one size fits all" baby gate. They are safer because they are mounted to the wall and latch on the opposite side. Safety gates that are designed to wedge or clamp in a space can come lose and be knocked down by your baby.
